Pacto Ltd. Indonesia Immediate Responds to Mount Agung Volcano Situation

Following the high alert status for Mount Agung issued on September 22nd, 2017 by The Indonesian Center for Volcanology and Geological Hazard Mitigation due to the increasing volcanic activity, residents who lived within a radius of 12 kilometers from the crater close have been evacuated from their homes.

On September 25th, 2017, Pacto Ltd. Indonesia visited to one of the evacuation center in Denpasar Regency. Located in Sanur, the center hosts 90 families amounting to 305 persons. At the time, our team delivered support in the form of basic food items, hygiene kits, blankets and clothing.

“We have delivered immediately to the refugees allocated to our village support goods in the excess of 2,000 USD, according to our long standing practice of community support. Since this situation is likely to last several weeks, or indeed months, it is our intention to organize further support. We wish to thank all our partners for allowing us to improve the lives of those who had to flee from their homes’’, shared Umberto Cadamuro, Chief Operating Officer Inbound of Pacto Ltd. Indonesia during his visit.
