Day 1: Arrive Jakarta (-)

Upon arrival at the airport you will be met by one of our experience guide in the arrivals hall and privately transferred to your hotel.

Day 2: Jakarta – Bogor – Jakarta (B)

Breakfast at Hotel Jakarta, depart to Bogor located about 50 km south of Jakarta in the city of Bogor, There is a huge, world-class botanical garden, covering an area of around 80 hectares. Founded in 1817, the gardens contain streams and lotus ponds and it has a collection of magnificent palms. The garden’s orchid houses are reputed to contain more than 3000 orchid varieties.

Afternoon visit Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII), this is a 1100 hectares of beautiful Indonesia in mini featuring full scale traditional houses from all provinces of Indonesia with displays of regional handicraft and clothing, and a large lagoon where you can row around the islands of the archipelago or take a cable car across for a bird’s eye view. There also museum, theaters, restaurants, an orchid garden and a bird park with a huge walk-in aviary. There’s even a mini by air conditioned coach to the Miniature Indonesia, where model traditional houses of all provinces in Indonesia are featured.

Day 3: Jakarta – Bandung (by train) (B)

Breakfast at Hotel, Meets with our guide, and then goes for Jakarta city tour by visiting “National Museum” as the first visit. The National Museum of the Republic of Indonesia or the Elephant Museum is the first and largest museum in Southeast Asia. National Museum collects many ancient objects from all over the archipelago. The collections are categorized into ethnography, bronze, prehistory, ceramics, textiles, numismatics, historical relics, and precious objects. After the great experience at National Museum, we will drive about 45 minutes to explore the Old Town of Jakarta. Here you will visit 2 places namely Fatahillah Museum and Sunda Kelapa Harbor. Your journey in the old city will start from the Museum of Fatahilah, the museum was built in 1707-1712 by order of Governor-General Joan van Hoorn. It consists of a main building with two wings in the east and west and a separate building used as an office, courtroom, and underground chambers used as a prison. After Museum Fatahilah you will walk to Jembatan Kota Intan (Intan City Bridge) which has stood since 1628 and can be regarded as the oldest bridge in Indonesia. During a trip to the Jembatan Kota Intan you will pass many historical buildings such as Bank Mandiri Museum, Bank Indonesia Museum and Toko Merah. Arrive at the Jembatan kota Intan and get explanation from our guide about this historical place. Afterward you will walk to the pick-up place, and drive to Sunda Kelapa Harbor for next destination. Arrive at Sunda Kelapa Harbor and you will see the ranks of Phinisi boats anchored at the oldest port in Jakarta. Proceed to Gambir Train Station continue by Train to Bandung. Upon arrival in Bandung, transfer to hotel for overnight.

Day 4: Bandung (B)

Breakfast and continue with Day excursion in Bandung. Mount Tangkuban Perahu is the place you should visit when you visit the northern Bandung area. This volcano offers many places to see and explore. Whether we look into the huge crater or hike down into it, stroll through the forest on its slopes, or simply enjoy the splendid panoramic scenery. Tangkuban Perahu is a volcano with three craters into which areas tourists can walk through. These three craters are: Kawah Ratu (“Queen Crater”), Kawah Domas (“Domas Crater”), and Kawah Upas (“Upas Crater”). For this program we will only see the queen crater from the view point. The program will continue to Ciater tea Plantation for next desination.

Arrive at Ciater Tea Plantation and you will be greeted with fresh air and the stretch of tea tree around you. Here you will meet the local guide who will guide you during the tea walk and he will explain the Tea processing starting from the selection of quality leaves, the way of picking up and the process of drying the tea leaves. If you are lucky you will have the opportunity to see the process of making tea in a tea factory owned by the plantation (factory closed on Sunday, Monday and holiday). After just seeing the Tea processing, now is time for you to enjoy a cup of hot tea complete with warm fried bananas in a small cabana belonging to the plantation.

After enjoy the north Bandung, it’s time to back to the center of Bandung and visit Saung Angklung Udjo. if you are interested in traditional arts, the art performances at Saung Angklung Mang Udjo is an opportunity you should not miss when visiting Bandung. Saung Angklung Udjo is one–stop cultural workshop, consists of: performance venue, bamboo handicraft centre, and bamboo instrument workshop. Apart from that, SAU has an honorable function as an educational laboratory and training centre to preserve the Sundanese culture – Angklung in particular. The udjo angklung show will start with performances from the children trained by the studio. They will show their ability to play puppet show, angklung, dancing, singing and playing traditional instruments. At the end of the show the audience will be lent angklung to be played along with the direction of the music arranger and made into a song you may have heard of.

Day 5: Bandung – Jogjakarta (by train) (B)

After breakfast we will transfer you to Bandung Train Station for your transport to Jogjakarta with Lodaya Pagi (07.00 – 15.12). Along the rail, you can enjoy beautiful scenery…local plantation, rice field, mountain and river. Upon arrival in Jogjakarta, then transfer to hotel in Jogjakarta.

Dinner performance at Purawisata ~ At the appropriated time, guests will be picked up by our guide to enjoy dinner followed by Ramayana dance performance in Purawisata. You will be picked up using the car to the place where Becak (local transportation) gathered, then continue the trip to Purawisata using Becak. Arrive at Gazebo garden Restaurant OR Shinta Garden Restaurant, you will be served a delicious buffet dinner with traditional menu’s. While enjoying Dinner, you will be accompanied by Javanese Gamelan and will be entertained by Traditional Java Dance. After dinner, you will be invited to Baruga mandira building (AKA Purawisata) to enjoy Ramayana dance who has held the record for every-night stage without ever being off for more than 40 years. After watching the Ramayana Ballet, you are also free to take pictures with the dancers figure Ramayana.

Day 6: Jogjakarta (B)

Breakfast then Meet with our guide at the hotel lobby, then we drive to Keraton (Palace) Jogjakarta. The visitors can enjoy the atmosphere of the kraton in former times by visiting the life-size diorama of wedding ceremonies on the palace meeting hall, performed by puppets, which are intentionally arranged to create such an atmosphere. Sets of Javanese musical instruments, antiques and heirlooms have made the palace of Yogyakarta worth to visit. Many sets of gamelan music instruments, antiques, and heirlooms make the palace of Yogyakarta the most interesting tourist attractions in Yogyakarta. The palace of Ngayogyokarto Hadiningrat is now the dwelling place of Sultan Hamengku Buwono X and the family. Afterward, drives to Borobudur Archaeological Park for 1 hour from Jogjakarta. Arrive at Borobudur Archaeological Park, local guide will accompany you to explore every corner of Borobudur temple and you are free to ask them anything about Borobudur. In addition to the temple, there are two museums located within Borobudur Archaeological Park, the Karmawibhanga Museum and the Samudraraksa Museum. These museums are housed inside the park just a few hundred metres to the north of the temple. These museum tickets are already included within the Borobudur entrance ticket, so visitor are free to enter the museum. Transfer back to Jogjakarta for your accommodation.

Day 7: Jogjakarta – Surabaya (by train) (B)

After breakfast, depart by train to Surabaya. Upon arrival in Surabaya, Drive to The house of Sampoerna, the cigarette live museum where you can see how is cigarette manufactured. This Museum offers a truly unique experience for visitors. Discover the story of the founding family and the development of Sampoerna’s business, and observe a real hand-rolled production facility with more than 400 women hand-rolling cigarettes at a speed of more than 325 cigarettes per hour. Afterward, we will drive to Kayoon Flower market with passing through the hero’s monument and Surabaya City Hall. Upon arrival at Kayoon Flower Market and enjoy the tour to see the various fresh flower, dried flower and artificial garden from both import and local. Afterward, drive to Hotel in center of Surabaya.

Day 8: Surabaya – Bromo (B)

Breakfast at hotel, then drive to Bromo with en-route stop at traditional harbor, then Continue to your hotel in Bromo, check in and take a rest before your Bromo tour. In appropriated time meet with our guide and catch the 4WD Jeep for your Bromo excursion. First we will go to view point to see Mount Bromo from a distance and we advise you to take lots of photos from this place. After that, we will descend to the desert to experience the thrill of driving in the middle of a stretch of sand. We will stop at the jeep parking and proceed on foot towards the Bromo crater. After Bromo tour, transfer back to hotel for your accommodation.

Day 9: Bromo – Probolinggo – Banyuwangi / Ijen (by train) (B)

Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to Probolinggo to catch the executive train to Banyuwangi. Enjoy the view from the train crossing the eastern part of Java.

Arrive at Banyuwangi, direct transfer to Ijen (with Jeep).

Day 10: Ijen – Bali (B)

Breakfast at hotel. Enjoy your last day in Java by admiring the Ijen volcano from your hotel’s pool side. At the appropriate time, transfer to Ketapang for a ferry to Bali. Up on arrival at Gilimanuk harbor, transfer to South Bali.

Optional Tour:

Ijen Tour ~ You will be given a wakeup call in the morning at about 3 a.m. to prepare the Ijen Trekking. A short drive (about 45 minutes) will bring you to the Ijen ranger Camp, where you’ll embark on a journey to Ijen crater (approximately 1-1.5 hours). At the crater Rim, you will be rewarded by breathtaking views of giant craters and Crater Lake 200 meter sulfur Turquoise. You also can see how the hardest workers in the world’s fight against toxic fumes and dangerous terrain to collect sacks of. After enjoying the view of sunrise in crater, walk down to Paltuding to catch the jeep. Get the jeep and back to the hotel via the same way as before. On the way back home, we can stop in some spots of the plantation for getting more information about the plants. And stop for looking the processing of sulfur on the factory. Arrive at the hotel at noon.
