Day 1: South Bali / Pemuteran – Banyuwangi (-)
Meet and greet with our experience guide at the south Bali / Pemuteran area, and privately transferred to Gilimanuk for ferry excursion to Ketapang. Upon arrival in Ketapang harbor, met with our representative and then continue with short drive to hotel in Banyuwangi.
Day 2: Banyuwangi – Jember (B)
You will be given a wakeup call in the morning at about 3 a.m. to prepare the Ijen Trekking (we provide breakfast box from hotel). A short drive (about 45 minutes) will bring you to the Ijen ranger Camp, where you’ll embark on a journey to Ijen crater (approximately 1-1.5 hours). At the crater Rim, you will be rewarded by breathtaking views of giant craters and Crater Lake 200 meter sulfur Turquoise. You also can see how the hardest workers in the world’s fight against toxic fumes and dangerous terrain to collect sacks of. After enjoying the view of sunrise in crater, walk down to Paltuding to catch the jeep. Get the jeep and back to the hotel via the same way as before. On the way back home, we can stop in some spots of the plantation for getting more information about the plants. And stop for looking the processing of sulfur on the factory. Back to hotel and meet with our guide who will escort you to explore the interesting places throughout east java. Change the vehicles with an ordinary car and then drive to Jember for your next program.
Day 3: Jember – Probilinggo (B)
Breakfast, check out process and short drive to Coffee and Cocoa Research Center Indonesia. This is one of the tourist attraction located in the village agro Nogosari Rambipuji sub-district, about 12 km to the south of Jember. Established since 1911, the Coffee and Cocoa Research Center has a 160 hectares surrounded by coffee plantations and cocoa (chocolate), our guest can see and learn how they method to produce a good quality of Coffee beans and Cocoa. If you are interested with their production, you can buy it and bring it back to your country as a typical of Jember souvenirs.
Afterward, we will drive to visit Cigarette Agro tourism. For your information, Jember is a city in Indonesia which famous for producing a good quality tobacco. Tobacco from Jember has often been exported to many countries including Cuba which is famous for quality cigar makers. When the planting season has arrived, our eyes will see a stretch of tobacco trees shaded by white roofs called waring, and this is one of their methods for producing quality tobacco. If we’re lucky, we’ll see a local people processing tobacco from harvesting, until they roll tobacco into a cigar. If you want, you can buy this quality cigar with a cheaper price compare by the cigar with the same quality in other country. Next we will drive to Probolinggo city for next accommodation.
Day 4: Probolinggo – Malang (B)
Leave the hotel and meet with our Jeep driver for your drive to Cemoro Lawang Village as the starting point for our tour at Mount Bromo. Drive to the view point to see Mount Bromo from a distance and we advise you to take lots of photos from this place. After that, we will descend to the desert to experience the thrill of driving in the middle of a stretch of sand. We will stop at the jeep parking and proceed on foot towards the Bromo crater.
Noted for Bromo: Guest can choose for sunrise tour (3 AM) or Morning Tour (9 AM)
Check out from the hotel in Probolinggo and transfer to Malang for your next accommodation. On the way to Malang we will visit The Singosari Temple. Singosari royal temple is located in the village of Renggo temple. Singosari temple is also known as Cungkup temple or Menara temple. This name indicates that Singosari temple at that time is the highest temple among the temples around it. In Singosari temple there are some interesting statues observed, including statues of Shiva, statues of Goddess Durga, and the statue of Andini.
If time permit, our guests will be invited to walk about 300-400 meters to the west of the temple Singosari to visit the giant statue of Dwarapala (guard Statue). The both statues have a weight of about 40 tons, height of 3.7 meters, and body circumference reach 3.8 meters. The location of these two giant statues is separated about 20 meters. After explore Singashari area, we will transfer you to hotel inside malang area.
Day 5: Malang – Kediri (B)
Breakfast at hotel and continue with check out process to Kediri city. Before heading to Kediri, guests will be invited to explore the city of Malang using a pedicab. The guest trip will start from Oro Oro Dowo which is the oldest market in Malang city. You will be invited to explore the market and see the activity in traditional market. From the traditional market we will used the pedicab towards “Eng an Kiong temple” which is the biggest Chinese temple in Chinatown of Malang. after visiting the temple, the journey continues towards the Bird Market and Traditional Flower Market as the final destination of this pedicab trip. When you arrive at the bird and flower market, the guide will explore you to see a various birds and flowers that may not available at your country. After the market, you will be invited to corner coffee to get some refreshment.
After exploring the city of Malang using a pedicab, we will drive to Batu city and visit the tourist attractions in there. The first destination is fruit picking tour. Batu city has a variety of plantations managed by private or government-owned. fruit that is widely grown in the city of Batu is Apples, oranges and strawberries. our guide will escort the guest to the right place refer to the fruit harvesting season. After the fruit picking, we will drive to the waterfall coban rondo located at the foot of Panderman Mountain. In here you will visit a beautiful waterfall that has a height of 60 meters. Besides a beautiful waterfall, our guests can also try the sensation of getting lost in the labyrinth of Coban Rondo. After the trip, direct transfer to your accommodation in Kediri.
Day 6: Kediri – Surabaya (B)
Breakfast at hotel, check out process then continue the program to Puh Sarang Church. This old church had built by Ir. Heendricus Maclaine on behalf of pioneer Mr. Yohanes Humbertus Wolters CM in 1931. The architecture is collaboration between European and Majapahit, combination with other local cultures. The structure of the church has unique architectural, The main building has roof likes Copula or Dome consists of Altar and Kudos, Sacrament, Baptism, Sacristy, and the place to admit sin. This building made from stone that is adhesive without cement but using Tetes. The roof of building is supported by spread out wire steel without laths and rafter, so if there is a wind it will make a special sound.
Next Destination before the tour is finish is visit Village of Trowulan. Trowulan village as the site of 15th AD’s last Hindu Kingdom in Indonesia as well as the greatest empire Indonesia ever had, Majapahit kingdom. In the archaeological site of Truwolan lies a museum which holds numerous statues and artifacts which were discovered in the site, the museum is recommended as the first stop for any visit to Trowulan because it also functions as a kind of information desk on the Trowulan archaeological sites. After the museum, we will visit the archaeological sites and small temples scattered in trowulan such as Candi Bajang Ratu, Candi Tikus, Wringin Lawang Gate and Candi Brahu. This visit will be accompanied by an experienced local guide.
The program can be run in reverse from Surabaya to Bali for guests arriving less than 9am. For guests who arrive more than 9 o’clock, we recommend to stay 1 night in Surabaya before the tour.
