Day 1: Arrival Jakarta (-)

Upon arrival at the airport you will be met by one of our experience guide in the arrivals hall and privately transferred to your hotel.

Day 2: Jakarta – Bandung (B)

Breakfast and early check out from hotel and you will be escorted towards Petak Sembilan (Pecinan of Jakarta) as the starting point for a trip to the Jakarta old town. In Petak Sembilan you will see a mixture cultures of China and Indonesia happening since long ago. The first visit in Petak sembilan is a temple Toa Se Bio already built since 800 years ago. After tour in Petak sembilan, now is time to enjoy the refreshment at Warung Kopi Tak kie and enjoy the refreshment of iced coffee which has been known since 1927. Afterward, proceed to Fatahilah Museum walk past the Asemka Market, Bank Indonesia Museum and the museum Bank Mandiri. Fatahillah museum was built in 1707-1712 by order of Governor-General Joan van Hoorn. It consists of a main building with two wings in the east and west and a separate building used as an office, courtroom, and underground chambers used as a prison. Afterward you will walk to the pick-up place, and drive to Sunda Kelapa Harbor for next destination. Arrive at Sunda Kelapa Harbor and you will see the ranks of Phinisi boats anchored at the oldest port in Jakarta. Afterward, Continue to Bandung to see the art performance at Saung Angklung Mang Ujo.

If you are interested in traditional arts, the art performances at Saung Angklung Mang Udjo are an opportunity you should not miss when visiting Bandung. Saung Angklung Udjo is one–stop cultural workshop, consists of: performance venue, bamboo handicraft centre, and bamboo instrument workshop. Apart from that, SAU has an honorable function as an educational laboratory and training centre to preserve the Sundanese culture – Angklung in particular. The udjo angklung show will start with performances from the children trained by the studio. They will show their ability to play puppet show, angklung, dancing, singing and playing traditional instruments. At the end of the show the audience will be lent angklung to be played along with the direction of the music arranger and made into a song you may have heard of.

Day 3: FD Tour Bandung (B)

Breakfast and continue with Day excursion in Bandung. Mount Tangkuban Perahu is the place you should visit when you visit the northern Bandung area. This volcano offers many places to see and explore. Whether we look into the huge crater or hike down into it, stroll through the forest on its slopes, or simply enjoy the splendid panoramic scenery. Tangkuban Perahu is a volcano with three craters into which areas tourists can walk through. These three craters are: Kawah Ratu (“Queen Crater”), Kawah Domas (“Domas Crater”), and Kawah Upas (“Upas Crater”). For this program we will only see the queen crater from the view point. The program will continue to Ciater tea Plantation for next desination.

Arrive at Ciater Tea Plantation and you will be greeted with fresh air and the stretch of tea tree around you. Here you will meet the local guide who will guide you during the tea walk and he will explain the Tea processing starting from the selection of quality leaves, the way of picking up and the process of drying the tea leaves. If you are lucky you will have the opportunity to see the process of making tea in a tea factory owned by the plantation (factory closed on Sunday, Monday and holiday).

Day 4: Bandung – Kutoarjo – Magelang (BL)

Morning train trip by train Lodaya Pagi from Bandung to Kutoarjo, departure scheduled on 07.00 and arrived at Kutoarjo on 14.10 (escort by PACTO guide on train). Arrival Kutoarjo, drives to Borobudur temple for 1 hour from Jogjakarta. Arrive at Borobudur Archaeological Park, local guide will accompany you to explore every corner of Borobudur temple and you are free to ask them anything about Borobudur. In addition to the temple, there are two museums located within Borobudur Archaeological Park, the Karmawibhanga Museum and the Samudraraksa Museum. These museums are housed inside the park just a few hundred metres to the north of the temple. These museum tickets are already included within the Borobudur entrance ticket, so visitors are free to enter the museum. Afterward, transfer to hotel near Borobudur. Lunch box include during tour.

Day 5: Magelang – Jogjakarta – Solo (B)

Breakfast and Check out from hotel, 1 Hour drive to Jogjakarta for Visit the palace of Sultan (King of Jogjakarta). The visitors can enjoy the atmosphere of the kraton in former times by visiting the life-size diorama of wedding ceremonies on the palace meeting hall, performed by puppets, which are intentionally arranged to create such an atmosphere. Sets of Javanese musical instruments, antiques and heirlooms have made the palace of Yogyakarta worth to visit. Many sets of gamelan music instruments, antiques, and heirlooms make the palace of Yogyakarta the most interesting tourist attractions in Yogyakarta. The palace of Ngayogyokarto Hadiningrat is now the dwelling place of Sultan Hamengku Buwono X and the family. Next goes to Kota Gede and try the Becak experience.

“Becak” a paddy-cab is one of popular traditional transportation in Yogyakarta, it can carried 1 to 2 passengers. Driving through the narrow alley of Kotagede the old city of Yogyakarta believed as the glorious root of Mataram kingdom. Featuring the houses with many different architectural styles, on the West of the city we can see Kalang Palace the large and beautiful former home of Kalang nobles, a family of silver-smith who made jewels for the king, today it became a place where people buy and sell silver jewellery. Kotagede has hundred of silver shop along the streets as the silver craft tradition existed for centuries. Find the heritage building of Mataram which was built with red bricks and looks strong and peaceful. Inside of the complex stands the first mosque in Kotagede called “Besar mosque”. Along the way you will see old façade with old building of 1930 and deep inside of the kampong you will see some “pendopo” a traditional javanese building made of big old teakwood built in 1700.

After excursion, visit the magnificent 9th century Hindu Temple of Prambanan. Believed to have been built during the Syailendra and Sanjaya Dynasty in the 700s AD, the Hindu Roro Jongrang (the slender virgin) temple complex in the Prambanan area is a contrast to Buddhist Borobudur temple although similarities abound. Afterward transfer to hotel at Solo.

Day 6: Full day Tour Solo (B)

Breakfast at hotel and then continue Solo City Tour. First we will visit Danarhadi Batik Museum, The Danar Hadi Batik Museum, which is part of the House of Danar Hadi complex, showcases one of the best collections of batik in the archipelago. Its collection contains some 10,000 pieces of rare and historical batik pieces from all over Indonesia, including 1,500 pieces dating to back to early 19th century. Displays are rotated every six months. Afterward drive to north of Solo for visit Padepokan Keris Brojobuwono and the Museum of Sangiran.

Padepokan Brojobuwono is founded by Bambang Gunawan and Basuki Yuwono Firm in 1999. This is apparently a museum / workshop whereby you can witness how keris (kris), the traditional Javanese dragger, are made. Discover more about this ancient craft at the keris artisan workshop of Padepokan Brojobuwono, located in the village of Wonosari. An ancestral technique from a bygone era, the kerismaking process itself usually takes from six months to a year depending on which materials are used and the complexity of the design. Precious metals such as gold, silver and gemstones such as diamonds or citrines are used to adorn the most exquisite pieces. Due to the high quality of the Keris was not surprised when Keris price at this place could reach 100 million Rupiah.

Sangiran Early Man Site, is an archeological site located 15 km from Solo. The area is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and an archeological treasure trove of fossils and remnants from the prehistoric era. The most important discovery however was the skeleton of the Java man (Pithecanthropus erectus) an important predecessor of the modern human. The current museum and visitors’ centre has three main halls. The first hall contains a number of dioramas which provide information about the early humans and animals which existed at the Sangiran site around 1 million years ago. The second hall, which is more extensive, presents much detailed material about the wide variety of fossils found at Sangiran and about the history of exploration at the site. The third hall, in a separate impressive presentation, contains a large diorama which provides a sweeping view of the overall area of Sangiran, with volcanoes such as Mount Lawu in the background and humans and animals in the foreground, as it is imagined to have been around 1 million years ago. Several of the presentations in this third hall draw on the work of the internationally-known paleontological sculptor Elisabeth Daynes.

Day 7: Solo – Blitar (BD)

Breakfast, check out of the hotel and then drive away without stopping toward the town of blitar. Check in at Tugu Blitar, the Heritage hotel. Tugu Blitar being the oldest hotel in Indonesia, the hotel building appears as a beautiful East Javanese mansion from the Dutch colonial times, with giant white-washed pillars, furniture from the late 19th century and the early 20th century, nostalgic photographs and elegant Chandeliers. The building was carefully renovated to its every detail in the beginning of this century, to preserve its artistic, charismatic, and historical characters but blending them with modern luxuries.

In Late afternoon, transfer to Penataran Temple and then enjoy The Lost Temple Private Dinner. The Hindu temples at Penataran are the largest intact Majapahit temples, and the finest examples of East Javanese architecture and sculpture. These temples are inherited from the Majapahit kingdom’s golden period, during the governance of King Hayam Wuruk, and are located on the lower slopes of Mount Kelud, around twenty kilometers north of Blitar.

Enjoy the sunset from the blue sky turned partially pink coming in to dusk. As the night started to roll in, Candi Panataran was slowly lit with torches. A wooden picnic table was set on one side of the park, complete with well thought-out placemats, cutlery, and candles. A few wooden Javanese statues decorated the dining area. In one corner, a flute player serenaded a Javanese tune. Enjoy your special dinner and then back to hotel for your accommodation.

Day 8: Blitar – Bromo (B)

Breakfast at hotel, Morning free and get the opportunity to join the hotel activities in the morning with additional fee. In appropriated time drives to Malang and then continue with short city tour around Malang, This is a city of great historical significance. The oldest existing record of Malang as a regency is from the 8th century, when the Dinoyo I inscription describes it as the seat of government of a kingdom called Kanjuruhan. In the 13th century, the region again became the center of power, when the city of Tumapel (also called Singhasari) was the capital of the kingdom of Java. You can visit many interesting tourism objects including; City Hall, Bird & Flower Market, and City Square. After city tour, direct transfer to hotel in Bromo.

Day 9: Bromo – Ijen (B)

After Breakfast the tour continue to *exploring Mt Bromo with 4WD Jeep and the adventure will begin. First we will go to view point to see Mount Bromo from a distance and we advise you to take lots of photos from this place. After that, we will descend to the desert to experience the thrill of driving in the middle of a stretch of sand. Our jeep will stop at the jeep parking and proceed on foot towards the Bromo crater.

Day 10: Ijen – South Beach of Bali (B)

Breakfast at hotel and morning is free time (Can choose morning activity with additional fee). In appropriated time drive to Ketapang Harbour to cross the straits of Bali. At Bali, Arrive in Bali and make a stop in Tanah Lot temple and enjoy the scenery with a glass of cocktail. After excursion, proceed to Hotel or airport.

OPTIONAL DETAIL (Ijen)

Baluran Tour

You will pick up at hotel in the morning about 7 a.m. and continue with 1 hour drive to Baluran National Park the little Africa van Java. Upon arrival at Baluran, we will pass through the teak jungle and savannah via macadam road. Inside the jungle we can see the wildlife and beautiful scenery from this little Africa. After the Jungle we will go to the Baluran beach and you will be given time to swim, Bird watching or just relaxing on the beach. After enjoy the beach time, we will back to Banyuwangi and drop you at the hotel.

Ijen Tour

You will be given a wakeup call in the morning at about 3 a.m. to prepare the Ijen Trekking. A short drive (about 45 minutes) will bring you to the Ijen ranger Camp, where you’ll embark on a journey to Ijen crater (approximately 1-1.5 hours). At the crater Rim, you will be rewarded by breathtaking views of giant craters and Crater Lake 200 meter sulfur Turquoise. You also can see how the hardest workers in the world’s fight against toxic fumes and dangerous terrain to collect sacks of. After enjoying the view of sunrise in crater, walk down to Paltuding to catch the jeep. Get the jeep and back to the hotel via the same way as before. On the way back home, we can stop in some spots of the plantation for getting more information about the plants. And stop for looking the processing of sulfur on the factory. Arrive at the hotel at noon.
