Upon arrival at the airport you will be met by one of our experience guide in the arrivals hall and privately transferred to your hotel.

Breakfast at hotel, meet with our guide and then continue with Medan short city before your lake toba tour. The first place that we would visit is Maimoon Palace. Maimoon Palace is royal house for Sultanate of Deli, This grand, 30-room Maimoon Palace was built by the sultan of Deli in 1888 and the architecture features Malay, Mogul and Italian influences. Maimoon Palace is one of the most beautiful palaces still exist in Indonesia. The Palace consists of two floors divided each into three parts: the main building, the left wing and the right wing. Each floor has 20 rooms. The total of 40 rooms of this Palace does not include the prison in the basement, kitchen and bathrooms. Our guest have a chance to witness the collections of the kingdom which are displayed along the meeting room, such as the photos of the families, antique furniture gifted by the Dutch, and various types of weapons. After this great palace, we short drive and visit the great mosque. Masjid Raya Al Mashun (Great mosque) was built in 1906 – 1909, in the style between the Middle East, Spain, and India. The building of this mosque is divided into the main hall, ablution, entrance and tower. The main hall, a place of prayer, the octagonal is not equilateral. The windows that surround the porch door made of wood with precious stained glass, the remnants of the Art Nouveau period 1890-1914, that combined with Islamic art. Next destination that we would visit is Tjong A Fie Mansion. Tjong A Fie was a businessman from China, a banker and a kapitan or Chinese Major. Tjong A Fie was a prominent figure in the development of Medan city. There are numbers of construction of various buildings utilized by the citizens of Medan past and present, including his mansion today. Tjong A Fie Mansion called “a historical jewel in Medan”, the 35-room, 2-storey Tjong A Fie Mansion was built in 1895 on an area of 8000 sq. meter. It is a registered historical landmark as well as a cultural heritage building and museum. The Mansion has Chinese, Malay and Art Deco influences in its architecture style. The structure was built observing feng-shui principles. The rooms are on four sides of the structures and surround a big open-air courtyard in the middle, signifying the “Well of Heaven”. After tour at tjong A fie Mansion, we will continue the program with 5 hours combination drive and ferry to Samosir Island. Check in at hotel in Samosir.

Breakfast at the hotel, cruising the Lake Toba for a day cruise by boat. Inland, visit to Ambarita Village, which has an archaeologically important meeting place for the King of Siallagan that supposedly served as a kind of hall of justice with ancient stone walls that were once topped with a thick fence of thorny bamboo, Next stop is the Simanindo Village, which is up to the Northern end of the Island known as site of some of the best Batak Toba traditional houses particularly that of King Sidauruk, which is now a museum and a chance to watch Toba Batak folk dance performed by the villagers and Tao Island for a brief respite & possibly swim in the tranquil water of Lake Toba. Afterward, proceed by boat to Tomok Village, inland walking on the road lined with souvenir shops up to a site to visit one of the Island’s most famous sights – the 200 years old boat shaped sarcophagus of King Sidabutar surrounded by those of his descendents. Afterwards, cruise on Lake Toba back to the hotel for dinner and accommodation. Lunch en route. cruise on Lake Toba back to Parapat

After breakfast, depart with ferry to Parapat and towards the cool mountain town of Berastagi. On the way to Berastagi, make en-route stop at Simarjarunjung Hill. In this place you should try the sensation of photographing on a tree with a beautiful lake toba as a backdrop. After Simarjarunjung, our trip continue to tongging hill and enjoy the gorgeous view from Sipiso Piso Waterfall. Tongging hill located at the Northern rim of Toba, we will go to a gazebo which provides panoramic view with spectacular waterfall known as Sipiso piso. This waterfall is located in the hills with an altitude of about 800 mdpl and surrounded by pine forests. With a height of about 120 meters, Sipiso-piso Waterfall is one of the highest waterfalls in Indonesia. After see the waterfall we will continue the program with direct transfer to Berastagi.

Breakfast at hotel, check out process and continue the program with 6 hours drive to Ketambe. On the way to Ketambe, visit Batak karo Traditional villa at Lingga. Lingga village situated at an altitude of about 1200 m above sea level, approximately 15 miles from Brastagi. Lingga is a unique Batak Karo village, has traditional houses of the estimated age of 250 years, but his condition is still sturdy. The house was inhabited by 5-6 families who still have ties of kinship. After Lingga, continue drive by passing Bukit Barisan. Upon arrival at Ketambe, and then overnight at the simple lodge.

Wake up and get your simple breakfast at the lodge, Leave the lodge and we will continue the program with trekking at the National Park of Ketambe. The primary reason most people visit Ketambe is to trek through the magnificent Gunung Leuser National Park, one of the largest untouched tropical jungles in the world. You will start the jungle tour from the guesthouse by walking for 20 minutes to the starting point for trekking. Afterward, we will enter into the forest and begin to encounter a small lane and will walk for approximately 6 to 8 hours. During the trip guide will show the rare plants contained in the forest of ketambe. In addition to showing rare plants, guide will try to show us the animals that live in this national park. This is virgin jungle at its best, filled with gibbons, monkeys, orangutans, deer, hundreds of species of tropical birds, tigers, rhinoceros and elephants. After quite tired walking, we will stop beside the river and guide will serve lunch for us, in this river you can also bathe and swim. Afterward, walking back to the lodge for enjoy the rest of the day. Simple dinner will be served at the lodge.

Early Breakfast, then drive back to the same road to Tangkahan via Berastagi. On the way to Tangkahan we will passing through a rubber and oil palm plantations line either side of the highway interrupted by low roofed local houses on high post to Tangkahan Rainforest, another entrance to Gunung Leuser National Park. Upon arrival at Tangkahan, walk to the simple lodge for your accommodation.

After early breakfast, proceed the elephant trekking into the Leuser National Park covers an area 9000 square kilometers heart of the Sumatran rainforests, home to a many diverse and exotic species of flora and fauna. It’s one of the most endangered ecosystems in the world. You will be cross the river and then walk down the river to where we will start the tubing program. The tubing program begins and we will follow the stream of the friendly river until the place has been determined. After finishing the tubing, we will walk back to the lodge. Afterwards, driving to Bukit Lawang / Bohorok by 4WD (Double cabin) to Bohorok Bukit Lawang. In the afternoon arrive in Bukit Lawang and transfer to your accommodation.

Early breakfast, proceed for a 3 hours trekking to the surrounding rainforest that is located at the Eastern edge of Gunung Leuser National Park with chance to observe various tropical plants including a tangle of enormous trees, twisting lianas, palms, ferns, and weird & wonderful flowers and to luckily see wild animals like orangutan. After the trekking, proceed walking back to the lodge. After take a short rest driving back to Medan for your next program.
