Pacto Outbound Office Jakarta Cares for Education through CSR
As a pioneer in the tourism industry throughout Indonesia since 1967, Pacto Ltd. Indonesia celebrates its 50th anniversary this year. Pacto has grown and become the largest expanded company with its branch offices in the seventh biggest cities in Indonesia including two branches in Bali. And Pacto also become the most advanced company as an industry leader in the Indonesian market today.
As a recognition of its high quality service, Pacto has achieved many awards, such as: Best Travel Agency in Indonesia 2016, 2012, 2011, 2010, 2009 by TTG Awards, The Best Destination Management Company by the 6th Indonesia MICE Award 2013, and The Best DMC Worldwide by the Travel Awards 2013. These awards are form of guest satisfaction. These also as the results of hard work of management and employees, with the integrity and cooperation of all Pacto teams. The growth of Pacto is also an impact of sustainable development of Indonesia tourism industry where human resources development is an essential factor in this field.
Eni Susilowati, the General Manager of Pacto Jakarta office, in her speech conveyed ‘’ we think that many companies believe they have a responsibility to give back to society. And this CSR activity which focused on education is a form of our company awareness to the community issues. We are taking this as our concern since the growth of a country can be measured by the progress of its education as one of the indications’’.
As the special celebration of Pacto Ltd.’s 50 years in service this year, all Pacto offices throughout the country are doing CSR activity; rotate every month for the whole year.
Pacto Jakarta office organized this CSR activity by helping an educational institution Yayasan Madrasah An-Nurul Aini which was held on October, 7th , 2017, from 9am to 2pm.The charity was given by providing books, school supplies, and painting the classrooms.
Eni Susilowati also conveyed ’’ this CSR activity will be continued in the future as a form of our Nation’s 1945 Constitution , 4th paragraph , which said : to develop the nation’s intellectual life, and to contribute to the implementation of a world order based on freedom, lasting peace and social justice’’.
“We hope what we are doing will help in teaching and learning process of students and teachers of Yayasan Madrasah An-Nurul Aini’’, she added.
