Celebrating the 50th anniversary, Pacto Launch Billionaire Club and Carry the Tradition of Annual Award Night

In a series of events celebrating the 50th anniversary, Pacto organize the Award Night for the fifth year and present the Billionaires Club together with the launching of the annual catalog Indonesia’s Finest Villas & Resorts 2017.

Themed in times past and titled Pacto Award Night & Billionaire Club Launching, this remarkable occasion took place in the Movenpick Resort Jimbaran on Wednesday, March 22nd 2017.

Newly introduced in this historical year, the launching of Billionaire Club is purposed to acknowledge the partners who have good cooperation with PACTO and in return they achieve high revenue from the company.

Classified in three membership categories SILVER, GOLD and PLATINUM, this eminent club is revealing the total revenue achieved by the best supporting partner hotels.

SILVER Club with total revenue minimum 1 Billion per property was achieved by five hotels: Mercure Resort Sanur, Sol Beach House Benoa, The Tanjung Benoa Beach Resort, Holiday Inn Resort Baruna Bali, and W Bali Seminyak.

GOLD Membership with revenue in the level of 1.5 and 2 billion was successfully obtained by 8 hotels: Sun Boutique Hotel, The Jayakarta Bali Beach Resort, Pan Pacific Nirwana Bali Resort, Hotel Vila Ombak, Puri Bagus Lovina, Rama Beach Resort & Villas, Amanwana, and Bali Dynasty Resort.

Meanwhile for PLATINUM category with revenue above 3.5 billion per property was achieved by The Bali Dream Villa, Ayodya Resort Bali, Amanjiwo and Segara Village Hotel.

As annual agenda, this fifth Pacto Award Night also brings out a series number of winners. The Best Guest Experience 2016 this year went to St. Regis Bali, Amanjiwo and Matahari Beach Resort & Spa.

For Top Seller Outside Bali 2016 category, it was won by Villa Ombak, Amanwana and Amanjiwo. Meanwhile for The Best Seller 2016 it is awarded to Grand Mirage Resort & Thalasso Bali, Melia Bali dan Prama Sanur Beach Bali.

PACTO also dedicated the Top Supplier 2016 award to the activity supplier partners for their steady contribution throughout 2016 which is presented to Blue Water Express, True Balinese Experience and Bali Hai Cruise.

Mr. Umberto Cadamuro, the Chief Operating Officer Inbound of Pacto Ltd. Indonesia said “In this event we would like to explain to the market about current tourism condition in Bali, and Indonesia in general. Bali is a very potential tourism destination and this island is suitable for every tourist market. As a Destination Management Company (DMC), Pacto has a portfolio of clients from around the world.

Since its establishment in 1967, Pacto has managed to maintain outstanding relationship with hotel partners. Take this opportunity to express gratitude to all hotel partners from 5 stars to the luxury hotels. “Our performance this year is excellent where we share more than 50 billion to hotels in Bali, Lombok, Java and also in Komodo Island. We therefore dedicate this appreciation because our success is also the success of our partners. Without the support from all our partners, it is nearly impossible for us to gain this accomplishment.” he further explained.

This year the awards has made more in numbers as well as in categories compared to previous years. As the most vital part of this 50th anniversary celebration, Pacto allocates certain funds for Company Social Responsibility activity that this year will be designated for buildings maintenance of the underprivileged schools in each area of all branch offices. The amount of the fund is also made bigger as a form of our concern and responsibility to the social-community.

PACTO currently has 7 branch offices throughout Indonesia including 2 branches in Bali. Each branch allocates around 500 million to support one school and the contribution will be given in accordance with the school’s needs such as building paints and stationery for the students. “This year the CSR activity will be held in April and June 2017 and we will support two schools in Bali while other branch will support one school in each area. We committed to support at least one underprivileged school a year’’ Umberto said.

When mentioning about revenue, Umberto claimed that Bali offices earn higher income than the other branches. Bali is very comfortable and safe for markets which currently still dominated by India and China. “Pacto is still focusing to work on Europe market such as Germany, Spain, Netherlands, Italy, Switzerland because the performance is fairly good.

During their five decades in service (1967 – 2017), Pacto has achieved a number of reputable awards and among them is Best Travel Agency in Indonesia in 2016, 2012, 2011, 2010, 2009 by TTG Awards, The Best Destination Management Company by the 6th Indonesia MICE Awards 2013 and The Best DMC Worldwide by the Travel Awards 2013.
