The India market keeps showing huge sustained growth to Bali for almost 2 years from 2014 to mid of June 2016. It is increasing into more than 120,000 tourists in 2015. The Pioneer Indonesian DMC of India Roadshow, Pacto Ltd. Indonesia has organized the 3rd successful roadshow to India. With as key theme “Pacto Goes to India 2016”, the main objective of the roadshow was to expand product knowledge for Indian Market.
The roadshow still took place in two major cities of India, Mumbai and New Delhi on 21 & 23 September 2016 respectively with 25 representative partners from the tourism industry of Bali including international and local chain hotels, activity supplier and restaurant as Accor, Conrad, Fairmont, Four Seasons, Grand Hyatt, Hard Rock, Intercontinental, Pan Pacific, Starwood, Bali Hai Cruise, Bali Zoo and Queens of India Restaurant.
The first day at the Trident Bandra Kurla Hotel, Mumbai saw an overwhelming 150 tour operators attended the free flow table top meeting in the morning with further 120 joining the dinner and cocktail party in the evening. Mumbai event was also completed by the presence of Mr. Saut Siringo-ringo as Consul General of General Consulate Indonesia in Mumbai.
Same similar agenda was set up at the Le Meridien New Delhi Hotel where more than 180 tour operators joined the table top and dinner, that culminated closing speech by His Excellency, Mr. Rizali W. Indrakesuma as the Indonesian Ambassador to India.
Referring to the success of both events, Mr. Umberto Cadamuro, Chief Operating Officer of Pacto Ltd. Indonesia stated that “having already achieved a great turnover in the Indian market, we have planned more activities to promote Indonesia, to help achieving target for the year and for the upcoming “Visit Wonderful Indonesia 2017”. The aggressive marketing plan, prepared with the invaluable support with our representative office in India, Absolute Hospitality Services Pvt. Ltd. is another proof of how, at Pacto, we do not aim at capitalize sales in the short term but we reinvest in marketing to remain market leader, he added.
